“Rear brakes were found by repair shop to not be working at all. We had to replace the modulator assembly. Cost of repairs was $1800.00. We have seen that there are many complaints about modulator assemblys on Honda vehicles failing.”
NHTSA complaint #11052493, filed 2017-12, 93,109 miles“Vehicle stability or vsa sight and ABS light came on at the same time. Honda dealer advised me that the repair would cost me $2337 dollars to repair. I would think that a recall would be in order for this safety related and stability related problem!”
NHTSA complaint #10694366, filed 2015-03, 94,928 miles“While driving, the car feels as though it skips when the accelerator is pressed, then when stopped at a light, the engine momentarily dies , the general warning signal and the vsa/ABS/airbag/brake lights come on and then the engine snaps back on. I took it to the dealer and they retrieved failure codes in the ABS control module: yaw rate sensor failure; sensor cluster failure. The dealer reset the codes, could not duplicate the issue and told me to come back if it does it again. My car is not safe to drive and has been parked since 6/1/17. …”
