“The headlights went out the day I bought my vehice and have read that this is a major issue that has been recalled for previous years but not this one. Many vehicle owners complain of replacing their bulbs every month or two and some have said that both have gone out on them during a long road trip. This is a major safety issue! Please address this! I really don't feel safe driving far distances and at night.”
NHTSA complaint #11103697, filed 2018-06, 116,400 miles“I have replaced the low beam bulbs 4 times the past 2 years on the passenger side and 2 times on the drivers side. This time the drivers side went out and after trying 2 new bulbs they still will not illuminate. I also have an issue with the dash light not coming on. The vehicle is scheduled for a check in 4 days. Over the life of this car the bulbs seem to last a very short time.”
NHTSA complaint #10538656, filed 2013-09, 175,000 miles“Over the past year, I have replaced 4 head light bulbs. Each time my mechanic has stated that the bulb was blown and that it was normal. It cannot be normal wear and tear to have to replace a headlight bulb every 3 or 4 months. I have found other complaints about this same problem but there has been no action taken by the manufacturer.”
NHTSA complaint #10430896, filed 2011-10, 100,000 miles“The low beams on my Honda have been replaced about 11 times since last summer. It starter with the passenger side- so now, it goes passenger, driver, passenger, etc. I changed the white things that hold the bulbs and replaced both bulbs (again!) now neither low beams work! I have to drive with my bright lights on and I live in a city- this does not make other drivers very happy.”
NHTSA complaint #10461158, filed 2012-06, 80,000 miles“When driving the brakes will seize up especially in the winter followed by a grinding sound. It did it twice yesterday(12/19/2020)while driving in the snow and the car will often slide making it difficult to stop. I have complained about this several times before on several occasions and once was told my brake like is probably frozen. The car dealership even took the converter heat shield off as it was dented and they thought that might be the issue. It is a scary situation when your brakes don't work good and you can't stop. …”
