“I own a 2008 CR-V it's at 95k mileage and both headlights on low beams went dim. Can't see the road at all. I had to turn the high beams on to get home. This happens while car is parked or driving. Constant problem. The drivers seat will not move forward, motor dying ??”

NHTSA complaint #11056909, filed 2017-12, 95,000 miles

“I am constantly replacing, tail lights, brake lights, third brake lights and reverse lights! All the locks whine when I put my vehicle in drive. They said that it would cost me $1200.00 to replace them all ! I do not believe that they all need replacing! My lamp light is out and they said it would cost $180.00 to fix that! I have had to have my back hatch repainted, and now above my windshield and grill need to be repainted! Whats going to need repainting next?! I can not afford to have my crv repainted, and it is embarrassing! I hand wash my crv with special cloths! …”

The last one to burn out lasted only 30 days....have changed to a different brand for the 3rd time... Becoming quite proficient in changing them with all the practice .... Always use new pair of cotton glves at install and electrical connector grease....”

NHTSA complaint #10453502, filed 2012-03, 114,000 miles

“I own a 2008 Honda crv. Recently I contacted Honda customer service to report a safety concern I have with the low beam headlights. I feel it is hazardous to others and myself while I am driving at night with the low beams. It is very difficult to see with the low beams and I am concerned for the safety of others and myself. Honda recommended I take my crv to the dealership in town to see if the lights needed to be adjusted. The dealership said they did and adjusted them, however I still am not able to see well and the adjustment did not make any difference. …”
