“Crv was in park, turned on ignition, closed driver door and went around to back door to get something from the back seat; car locks locked when I closed door. We had to jimmy the car lock open while car was on. Now, one of the back locks sounds like a machine gun when we lock the car with the fob or when the locks close themselves after reaching a certain speed.”

NHTSA complaint #11190915, filed 2019-03, 160,000 miles

“Im driving down the road all of the sudden my door locks all make a terrable startling noise that has happened since the recall on them and I have had the drivers side replace at merced Honda. But now it does it in route and no one can get out of the back passenger seat . It is just locked.”

NHTSA complaint #11343341, filed 2020-08, 125,630 miles

“The driver side rear door and trunk cannot be unlocked. There is no response when I try to unlock the doors with the remote. The door also does not open when I try to unlock the door manually. This is definitely a life threatening safety issue in case of an emergency escape becoming necessary.”

NHTSA complaint #11163273, filed 2018-12, 96,000 miles

“I had issues with the doorlock actuator on drivers side. I took it to dealer and they took care of it and assured me they were fixed once and for all. I have noticed that when I hit the lock for all the doors, the rear drivers side does not lock. Today, I was at the gas pump. Turned off my car, put it in park and the locks would not open. I had to manually open my driver side door.”

NHTSA complaint #10861893, filed 2016-04, 141,000 miles

“I have key with door locks on it, when I unlock the car, it automatically locks again, without pushing the other button to lock it. Also, the A/C has been fixed 4 times and within a week , just blows out warm air, have taken to several mechanics, Honda dealer/garage says they wont fix unless there is a recall”
