“During a cold spell in my city my brand new Honda Crv Hybrid had difficulty starting and major warning signal appeared on the dash. We took it to the dealer of purchase but they are giving us difficulties replacing the low voltage battery that doesn't work in this climate! When looked up reviews on this car the websites of poor battery performance in cold weather areas are numerous.”

“The hybrid battery fan is emitting a loud, high-pitched noise from the back of the vehicle while driving on the highway. It makes it difficult to drive and gives me a headache, which makes it difficult to focus and endangers my own safety and those around me. The dealership has acknowledged that this is an issue for my vehicle, but states that there is no solution offered by Honda at this time.”

NHTSA complaint #11720775, filed 2026-02

“Date of Incident: February 6, 2026 Time: Approximately 2:30 PM On February 6, 2026, at approximately 2:30 PM, I came to a complete stop at a stop sign. As I began making a turn, the vehicle suddenly and unexpectedly accelerated without my intention to increase speed. This unexpected acceleration caused the vehicle to strike a small tree. The vehicle sustained damage to the passenger-side front area. No other vehicles or individuals were involved. I was not injured. …”

“Spouse parked the car in the garage, turned off motor. It was left in reverse gear, but car was off. She exited vehicle, went out to driveway, and the car was slowly rolling out of the garage. She had to jump in, apply the brakes. Then started vehicle and placed in Park. Shut vehicle off. I was able to replicate the same event. Lucky that our grandkids were not in or behind the car. As I understand the process, an electrical and/or programming failed to place car in auto park.”

NHTSA complaint #11771859, filed 2026-10

“I was on the interstate, in an unfamiliar area, in heavy traffic and in construction area. Suddenly, the GPS screen just went blank and it was at a point where the next step in the directions was coming up. Being in heavy traffic, with construction, at a high rate of speed, in an area where I was unfamiliar and having the system drop like that is the safety concern when you’re trying to make driving decisions.. Thankfully I was able to pull over in an area that was safe enough to stop.”
