“Took my 2026 Honda CRV Touring Sport Hybrid through the car wash exactly one month and one day after purchasing. Upon leaving, I noticed a perfect horizontal crack the length of the passenger side mirror. I was later told this was a known issue due to extreme temperature changes (low temperatures) and to report it here.”

NHTSA complaint #11719593, filed 2026-02

“Since new, my car's passenger side windshield fluid does not adequately clean (dirt, bugs) on its side of the windshield, even when parked, obstructing my view to the road. It’s a Honda design issue that is a safety issue. Honda dealer said it's working as designed. Car currently only has 5,000 miles.”

NHTSA complaint #11768680, filed 2026-10

“The very first time I used the wiper fluid spray, it sprays too late, when the wipers are vertical. I have had the vehicle 1 month and it has 1000 miles on it. This will be extremely dangerous during winter when I can't get road spray off the windshield. I will be calling the dealership tomorrow. I noticed this just trying to get bug splats off the windshield. The washer fluid system is useless in my opinion.”

NHTSA complaint #11761446, filed 2026-09

“Formally lodging a complaint regarding a severe manufacturing defect in my newly purchased 2026 Honda CR-V and to demand an immediate windshield replacement under the New Vehicle Limited Warranty. I purchased this vehicle less than six months ago. It currently has under 6,000 miles on the odometer and has been driven exclusively on local back roads, not highways. Despite this exceptionally light and careful use, a hairline stress crack has spontaneously developed on the windshield. …”

NHTSA complaint #11738016, filed 2026-05

“Washer for windshield does not clean windshield. Had to pull of highway to manually clean windshield so I could continue to drive. HONDA of Denton told me that washer is normal. New style for CRV.”
