“0due to the design of the cooling system the vehicle does not reach operating temperature and therefor is not save to drive in cold weather I have reservations about being able to defrost windows and not freezing if stuck in snow the dealer told me this is normal when parked the fans run continuously on the radiator,”

NHTSA complaint #11389458, filed 2021-01, 19,000 miles

“We were driving on a highway when we suddenly heard a large explosion. We thought something had hit us. By god's grace, no other vehicles were near us. After we recovered from the shock we realized that a large noise was coming from above. In fact, the sunroof had exploded. When we got off the road we found that 70% of the glass was gone. There were no vehicles near us, and certainly nothing above us.”

NHTSA complaint #11110602, filed 2018-07, 11,000 miles

“Radio turns on and off, radio stations switch around, brightness goes up and down, phonebook gets run through and calls random people, google maps history starts being displayed as if someone is looking up my location, windshield wipers go on and off. Radio volume turns way up. I unplug my phone and someone will reconnect it using bluetooth. It has been happening 3 times a week over 6 months. Dealership has no security updates for me”

NHTSA complaint #11192206, filed 2019-03, 12,000 miles

“Sunroof explosion: new Honda CR-V with only 4,420 miles. The sunroof exploded while driving down a state highway at 70mph. No cars or trucks were directly in front of me and no rocks or debris were found by the service repair in remaining shattered glass. Luckily I did not have the sunroof open so the glass particles did not fly into the passenger area, but cars behind me slowed as some glass particles flew from the roof. …”

“Bought a 2017 Honda crv this march. Drove fine for 3 months & 3k miles. On 6/7/17 the rear windshield exploded. The car was stationary at my work place. It was a hot 92 degree day. A coworker drove by & heard a loud pop & she notice my damaged window & cane to notify me asap. The glass clearly exploded because all indications of the bulging of glass has puffed outward from my car. There's a huge 1 foot wide hole in the center left, it looks like when a chick is hatching from its egg. …”
