“When I pulled over my car in the parking lot, put the shift stick to p them try to engage the electronic parking brake. The dashboard showed 'electronic parking brake problem' and the parking wasn't engaged and 'brake' red light flashing on dashboard. And all other systems like adaptative cruise control', 'lane control', etc were reporting malfunction.”

NHTSA complaint #11302745, filed 2020-01, 27,000 miles

“Vehicle was stopped at a light . When light turned green, began to enter the intersection when vehicle suddenly flashed brake warning and brought car to complete stop. There was nothing in front of the vehicle. Luckily the vehicle behind did not hit the back of my car. Third time since I purchased the vehicle that this has happened, bar braking with nothing in front of it.”

NHTSA complaint #11192060, filed 2019-03, 19,680 miles

“While driving in cruise control, the brake light will come on and the vehicle will almost come to a complete stop, with no one in front of me. My wife and I were almost in an accident when this happened on I-75 at 65 MPH. Also, this brake light indicator will come on without being in cruise. This has happened over 6 times.”

NHTSA complaint #11182415, filed 2019-02, 6,000 miles

“The safety feature reacts to shadows on the road. This has happened 3-4 times where if I'm driving under a bridge the car will beep and show a message asking me to hit the brakes. I think the car sees the shadow of the bridge on the road in front of me as an object and is asking me to stop/ hit the brakes. If the car ever applies automatic braking, then the car behind me can slam into me causing an accident.”

NHTSA complaint #11389549, filed 2021-01, 53,000 miles

“I was driving on a two way street no car in front of me for at least over half a mile and the car abruptly stopped (32 MPH to 7 MPH) within seconds. There was nothing on the road, clear weather conditions. I went forward and my pursue fell on the floor. Luckily, there was no car behind me otherwise I would have been rear-ended.”

NHTSA complaint #11074124, filed 2018-02, 8,963 miles
