NHTSA complaint #11399554, filed 2021-03, 74,000 miles

“I was driving north on hwy 86 from the city of imperial ca. When I set my cruise control at 65 MPH suddenly start going up and down with the speed ( going up to 67 and down to 64) with no vehicles in front of me. I arrive to my house and after hearing problems with the stalling on the CR-V models , my husband check the oil and it smell a lot to gasoline.”

NHTSA complaint #11142515, filed 2018-10, 15,400 miles

“I owned my 2017 Honda crv for 2 years with ~43000 miles on it. Feb 28th 2020 I got the emission control error or check engine light, its steady light not blinking, while driving on the highway. I did not have it service recently or filled gas. A car with 43k miles has emission issues just seems poor design.”

NHTSA complaint #11312227, filed 2020-02, 42,567 miles

“I've got 21000 miles on this car which I bought brand new. It's been to the dealership at least four times for the following: all warning lights come on the first time it happened I couldn't release the electronic parking brake. I was told oil was mixing with gas and that Honda has a fix 'coming soon' I'm afraid to drive this car. The car was stationary each time”

NHTSA complaint #11150672, filed 2018-11, 15,000 miles

“When turning on car, I intermittently smell strong odor of fuel inside the car. I brought car to Honda dealer (car is less than 6 months old) and dealer stated they didn't smell or see anything and they did not take issue seriously and did not run any tests. I do not use cheap gas as dealer had suggested, and car was never in a garage any time when strong odor was present.”
