“Hi - Happy New Year! When temperatures dropped in late Nov/ early Dec 2024, my driver side mirror cracked when I did a remote started. I park my car in my own driveway (safe neighborhood and also with security camera) and there was no external damage. Car is new (bought in March 2024) and had less than 7,000 miles.”

NHTSA complaint #11633822, filed 2025-01

“Both side mirrors shake vigorously while driving at any speed. It is very hard to focus and see the image in the side mirrors. Most of the time I have to use the rear view mirror to see behind me. The shaking is so severe that sometimes if I’m looking at the side mirror trying to see it will make my head hurt.”

NHTSA complaint #11620289, filed 2024-10

“Vehicle purchased new, in October 2023. During October, 2024, the drivers side rear view mirror developed a vertical crack, about an inch from the right edge. There is no damage to the vehicle / mirror housing. There was no impact. There was no significant temperature change. I just walked to my car one morning to see the mirror cracked. I've contacted 2 Honda dealerships & they want > $200 to repair.”

NHTSA complaint #11623869, filed 2024-11

“The driver side rear-view mirror vibrates any time i am traveling over 40-50 mph. This makes it extremely hard to see what is happening behind me. This is a huge problem while at high way speeds and it needs to be rectified immediately.”

NHTSA complaint #11564413, filed 2024-01

“The back up camera becomes blurred or unusable in rain and is worse after drying. This is not momentary water droplets. I spoke with NTSA and their reply was based solely on the owner’s manual, despite ongoing loss of rear visibility in wet conditions. I am requesting escalation and review for camera replacement or an updated part, not cleaning. Please don’t refuse to address a backup camera visibility failure, citing the owner’s manual. I need a formal case opened for a rear-visibility safety defect.”
