“The liftgate closed on my head. I quickly moved out of the way. My husband opened the liftgate and it closed on his head. The car was in the garage with the garage door open. There was no warning. The service department at the dealership could not reproduce or confirm the malfunction.”

NHTSA complaint #11640195, filed 2025-02

“While driving on the Interstate, the sunroof shattered. The middle section was completely shattered with glass remaining on the edges. I attempted to contain the remaining pieces by putting duct tape across the whole top. Further down the highway the entire sunroof blew off the vehicle. Not only was this frightening for me, it could have been a real hazard for anyone behind me. Luckily traffic was light and no one was driving directly behind.”

NHTSA complaint #11737290, filed 2026-05

“The Hood on my 2024 Honda CRV has been vibrating and appears to have some flex. This occurs consistently at highway speeds and is even more noticeable on windy days. I’ve double checked that the hood is closed and it is latched properly.”

NHTSA complaint #11645892, filed 2025-03

“On 17 July 2026, I was attempting to park in a handicap parking place at May Washington Hospital Center. The outdoor parking lot is to the right of the hospital entrance and consists of several terraced rows with each terrace a few feet below the one above it. I was halfway into the parking space with my foot on the brake when the car (2024 CRV Hybrid Touring) suddenly accelerated. I pushed the brake pedal but it had no effect. There were no warnings from the safety systems. …”

NHTSA complaint #11757546, filed 2026-08

“I got in the car this morning and noticed what looked like a condensation drip at the top of my passenger side mirror. By the time I got to work, a full length crack was down the mirror. I pulled my cameras and nothing touched my mirror over night. I did a google search and others are reporting similar issues. this has a direct affect on visibility while driving. Given other complaints found this is a known issue, then Honda needs to do a recall.”
