“The hybrid battery fan is emitting a loud, high-pitched noise from the back of the vehicle while driving on the highway. It makes it difficult to drive and gives me a headache, which makes it difficult to focus and endangers my own safety and those around me. The dealership has acknowledged that this is an issue for my vehicle, but states that there is no solution offered by Honda at this time.”
NHTSA complaint #11720775, filed 2026-02“Brand new car, 2026. Rear window explodes for no reason. It has happened twice and is a hazard for me to drive. They are only replacing the glass and not doing further inspections and refuse to replace it again if it happens again. I am fearful to drive it as the glass may explode while I’m driving.”
NHTSA complaint #11752821, filed 2026-07“Someone stole my radar sensors that is located behind the front Honda emblem. My car still drives but critical security features are disabled. It's not covered under warranty and when I asked Honda if they can put something in to protect the sensor from being stolen again they said they don't have anything. I am scared to park my car anywhere . The part is so easy to steal even a child can do it!!!”
NHTSA complaint #11743220, filed 2026-06“Vehicle: 2026 Honda CR-V Issue Type: Parts – Design Vulnerability / Theft-Related Defect I am submitting this complaint regarding the front radar/calibration sensor located behind the Honda “H” emblem on my 2026 Honda CR-V, which was stolen due to what I believe is a serious design vulnerability. The sensor is positioned in a manner that makes it exceptionally easy to access and remove, even without specialized tools. …”
NHTSA complaint #11715271, filed 2026-02“1. Google Maps does not work in AppleCarPlay like it does in the 2025 models. The car speed bounces between certain numbers and the speed seriously lags speed numbers are not bouncing. This is a safety issue because there is not a single navigation application that works on that CarPlay and I then have to rely on my phone again which can be distracting. 2. The fuel economy is much worse than stated in Honda literature. The freeway mpg is not 31 but 26.”
