“Hot sunny and humid day heading to work when turning on the air conditioning it blows warm to hot air as the car is already warm from the sun it doesnt blow cold air and if it does its rarely and wont last long. I have seen a lawsuit was filed and settled but my year of the car wasnt mentioned but seems to be more than just mine as well. Just purchased october 2016”
NHTSA complaint #10995327, filed 2017-06, 78,000 miles“Air conditioner problem that didn't arise until well after the 7 year or 100,000 miles. I am on year 9 and 7,000 miles over and nothing can be done about this. It is a known issues and it is still happening. A friend of mine has a crv also but a 2017 to my 2010 and he has the same issue. Not as bad but still. Why should we have to pay out of pocket for something Honda knows about and still puts in there vehicles!”
NHTSA complaint #11210641, filed 2019-05, 103,000 miles“Driving at highway speeds, the rear driver side wheel assembly detached at the frame causing an unexpected fishtail to a stop. Fortunately the roads were icy that the tire was able to skid and we avoided rolling over. After researching this issue online I found that these crv's are being recalled in canada for excessive corrosion to rear frame stiffeners years 2007-2011 resulting in what happened to us. Why is this not being done in the united states?”
NHTSA complaint #11395197, filed 2021-02, 116,000 miles“Driver side door won't unlock. First time I tried to unlock all doors wouldn't unlock and I was trapped inside my car. Not electrical as windows proceeded to roll down/up. Dealership wants to and I quote break door to see what problem is . I think not. Key fob doesn't unlock any door but key fob will lock all doors. Have to manually unlock at driver side door and then go enter passenger side door to enter vehicle. Safety hazard for sure.”
NHTSA complaint #11193658, filed 2019-04, 67,000 miles“Locks intermittently lock and unlock while driving and in park. This afternoon my son was locked in the car for several minutes as we prayed and waited for them to unlock again to get him out in the blazing florida heat. This is definately a safety hazard.”
