“I was driving on abridge and car went out of gear and would not pull. Then it goes back in gear. It did this several times before I got home some 24 miles away so I took car to transmission shop and found out a something had broken off the 5th gear area had to get it fixed. Just got out of shop and paid $2838.36. So my question is is there a recall if so how do I get reimbursed?”

NHTSA complaint #11052759, filed 2017-12, 128,000 miles

“The vehicle was purchased new Honda CR-V 2010 and has been services throught same place purchased since day one. The complaint of a metal noise dropping when reversing. I have replaced the tires, brakes, calipers, drums and rotars as they siezed, wore unevenly and oxidized(?). I have been told the tires have an impression on them as the vehicle must have been not used for a period of time. The care is used daily. Some excused provided have been amazing. …”

NHTSA complaint #10911120, filed 2016-10, 500 miles

“My car engine stalled mostly in ther morning at 50 MPH or above. It lasts about a few minutes, and disappears. It happens in the afternoon again. It seems that egine speed and transmission are mismatched. I reported this several times after I purchsed it; dealers updated softwares under factory warantees. The problem has not been fixed. My car has now about 32,000 milies. I am not sure if this has anything to do with the recent recall on engine oil ring problem.”

NHTSA complaint #10819349, filed 2016-01, 450 miles

“The 2010 CR-V has very sluggish acceleration from low speed and from a dead stop. We have a driveway that slopes down, and we have to floor the gas pedal to go up the drive way and even then it goes at a snail's pace. It is difficult to turn into traffic with out having to floor the gas pedal and even then, it can still be inconsistently sluggish (you never know how fast you start going or if you will start going). …”

NHTSA complaint #10361843, filed 2010-10, 2,000 miles

“I purchased and always serviced my 2010 CR-V with garden state Honda and they have service documentation from as early as november 2010 regarding a complainants a metal noise 'dropping' in through under my vehicle purchased in 2010 as early as nov 2010 and continuing every year to follow up to this present date. Now it has been 'discovered' to be an internal issue with the transmission. I am starting to take it personally that being a woman I know nothing about cars and that any funny noise is just something a woman would say. …”
