“I was contacted about a gearbox active recall by Honda in November of 2024 and was told to go to a dealer and get it fixed. I have called the dealership several times only to be told that Honda has a fix but has not sent the correct parts to the dealerships to complete the fix. It has been more than 60 days since the notice.”
NHTSA complaint #11636787, filed 2025-01“My cars steering wheels starts to “stick” the further I drive. I notice when I’m driving on the interstate if my car starts to veer the steering wheel doesn’t easily turn. I have to yank the wheel in order to veer the car back on the road. I notice it started happening around November 2023 and it occurs most frequently the farther I drive.”
NHTSA complaint #11584260, filed 2024-04“The Transmission mount failed and the transmission was loose and clunking around in the vehicle when I applied the breaks and occasionally when I accelerated. The car has less than 50K miles and the transmission mount should not fail. There was no accident or rust and no reason for it to fail. I believe it is a safety hazard that Honda should do a recall or at least cover the cost of the repair.”
NHTSA complaint #11728453, filed 2026-04“Transmission not shifting and losing power while in traffic. RPM'S goes really high while driving on flat land and uphill. This has happened numerous times putting me in danger while in traffic. It is not continuous but spontaneous. It causes deceleration like my transmission is not working.”
NHTSA complaint #11572584, filed 2024-02“First incident. 9/20/2025: car went forward when gear shift was in reverse. I had pulled my car into space on a slight incline in a parking garage. The space inclined downward toward a wall. I needed to back my car back a few inches away from the wall. I put my car into Reverse and applied light pressure on the accelerator. The car moved forward. I applied the brake, visually inspected the shift lever to make sure it was in reverse, and applied light acceleration again. Again the car moved forward. …”
