“A few days ago I heard a loud clunking noise emanating from the rear wheel wells when I was making left or right turns regardless of speed. I took it in to my local Honda dealer who reported that the nut holding the sway bar became loose somehow, causing the noise. They had indicated it's possible it had not been torqued to factory specifications. The dealer also reported that multiple customers had already come in for similar issues.”

NHTSA complaint #11769092, filed 2026-10

“At 17,000 miles and 17 months of ownership the car started clattering badly on startup. The check engine light came on as well as an advisory that there might be an emissions problem, and to take the car to the dealer. We had it towed in (inconvenient as we were out of town). The problem was diagnosed as faulty fuel injectors which are being replaced under warranty. We were told this is not an uncommon problem for the 2025 hybrid CR-V.”

NHTSA complaint #11713204, filed 2026-01

“Car was leased on 2/2025, at the end of May 2026 I drove the car for a couple of days when I began to notice there was an issue when turning left. Anytime I made a left turn, the car would get stuck and would pull back to the right. When the left turn was being made, there would be a clicking sound from the front left side of the car. When driving straight, the car felt like it needed to pull to the right and I would need to hold on to the steering wheel tight. …”

NHTSA complaint #11746317, filed 2026-06

“Pulled into parking space but needed to adjust so shifted into R. Tapped gas and car went forward. Shifted to D and back to R. Tapped gas and car went forward. Turned car off, then started car again. Shifted to R and tapped gas, car went backwards correctly.”

NHTSA complaint #11768832, filed 2026-10

“The contact owns a 2025 Honda CR-V. The contact stated while driving 30 MPH, the contact slammed on the brakes to make an emergency stop. The vehicle stopped, but the engine revved to 500-800 RPMS. The contact stated that upon releasing the brake pedal, the vehicle lurched forward, and the RPMs were significantly higher than normal. The contact depressed the brake pedal, and the contact released the brake pedal again; however, the failure recurred. The contact stated that upon turning off and restarting the vehicle, the failure persisted. …”
