“Twice at the same 4 stop intersection, I have come to a complete stop and when clear attempted proceed through the intersection and the collision mitigation braking system (cmbs) has engaged unexpectedly. Both times I entered the intersection and when a third of the way through dash board warning lights came on and the brakes engaged, halting me in the intersection.”

NHTSA complaint #11315792, filed 2020-03, 14,500 miles

Nothing was around to trigger the sensor, yet the aeb went into full effect. The car beeped, flashed the brake sign on the dashboard and slammed on the brakes.”

NHTSA complaint #11364121, filed 2020-10, 24,000 miles

“Went to start the car, put the key in the ignition but the key did not turn, I thought the steering wheel had locked on me but that was mot the case, the car had to be towed to the dealer where after 5 days still remains. They explain that the key cylinder component is bad and has to be replaced. Waiting for the part and all locks in the car have to be replaced.”

NHTSA complaint #11113870, filed 2018-07, 400 miles

“I was driving on the highway, approximately 65 MPH, travelling straight east with no turns. Traffic was moderate, time was 5:40 pm. For no apparent reason, my moonroof exploded, I was very startled and swerved barely missing the car beside me. The sunscreen was closed, and I was not injured, but shattered glass would have rained on the car behind me. Incident occurred on 11/01/2019”

NHTSA complaint #11278460, filed 2019-11, 240,000 miles

“Rear passenger side door window glass shattered while driving on the highway. I heard a loud pop before the glass shattered. There were no vehicles to the right of or in front of my car when it happened, since I was in the right-most lane of traffic. Therefore, the glass could not have been shattered by debris.”
