“Was driving on the highway and it started to lightly rain and I received the following error on my dashboard some driver assist systems cannot operate : radar obstructed and my truck started to brake by itself. I pulled over on the side of the highway and didn't see anything obstructing the sensors. The error stayed on until I got home and parked my truck.”

NHTSA complaint #11376347, filed 2020-11, 43,800 miles

“I was driving on a city street under repairing with steel plates putting on street. While my car just about 15 feet from a big steel a plate (1 inch above ground) , speeding 30 miles. Suddenly, it braked so hard, left skids on street and stop right on the street and then it released brake. Luckily the car behind was far away; therefore no collision from the back”

NHTSA complaint #11374505, filed 2020-11, 19,700 miles

“A known common issues that Honda are not addressing: car going limp randomly, oil dilution, head gasket failure causing fuel injector issues, dashboard lighting up which causes the safety features to also cease from operating. I have multiple times now with my 4 year old in the car been in traffic and my car has just stopped going unprovoked. This limp mode issue a huge safety issue and has almost caused me to wreck multiple times. This started around 70k miles.”

NHTSA complaint #11735679, filed 2026-05, 124,358 miles

“I was driving straight in an open street, no obstacles at all. However, my vehicle started beeping and slammed the brakes to a complete stop. I was almost thrown out of my seat but thank god I had my seatbelt on. I checked my dash camera footage aswell no sign of obstacle, nothing at all. I believe its the collision mitigation braking system that got activated for no reason. I have my dash cam footage to support my claim.”

NHTSA complaint #11404062, filed 2021-03, 37,900 miles

“The car braked and stopped suddenly and completely in front of a a speedbump on a a bridge. The last one was on october 2, 2020. In all three cases it was either early evening (6:30 pm, no rain or foul weather) or at later at night ( around 10:00 pm, one time was raining, the other case it was clear). I all e three cases I was driving with speeds of 10-15 miles/hr and there was not a car close in front of me near me. After the first two incidents I took the car to the dealership and they said they did not see anything wrong. …”
