Example complaints

Selected from NHTSA records; personal details are removed. They are consumer reports, not findings.

“Honda put the CR-V lidar censor behind the logo emblem on the front grill. The logo is easy to remove, and the censors are being stolen at alarming rates. They're utterly unprotected, and cost over $2000 to fix/replace. It is a huge design flaw and it's unfair that they've saddled car owners with no ability to prevent theft, and huge replacement fees if a theft occurs. I just had the logo emblem stolen and it cost over $320 to replace. That's unacceptable and I'm really mad at whoever designed this car.”
