Selected from NHTSA records; personal details are removed. They are consumer reports, not findings.

“Rear bucket seat buckle unbolted from its structure without any impact or force being applied. There were problems with the temperature control knob. (the entire heat A/C control panel was replaced), the front brake pads had to be replaced and the rotors had to be cut, the check engine light had come on, and gasoline was smelled each time the engine was shut off.”

NHTSA complaint #10051877, filed 2004-01, 15,048 miles

“This vehicle has encountered numerous engine and transmission problems since we acquired it in 2006. The transmission failed at just over 100,000 miles. After a huge fight with Honda they reluctantly agreed (because it was just outside of the warranty extension for this known defect) to pay half the cost of the repair. Check engine lights continued to come on, in addition to other issues, including EGR problems, despite replacing the EGR, etc. The vehicle is now at approximately 165,000 miles and the transmission has failed again!!”

NHTSA complaint #10473296, filed 2012-09, 105,000 miles

“The fuel filler neck has developed a leak. As a result, the check engine light stayed on, and the vehicle was unable to pass inspection. A leak was coming from somewhere in the fuel filler pipe. The fuel filler pipe was replaced again along with the fuel pump seal and nut.”

NHTSA complaint #10115678, filed 2005-06, 24,183 miles

“There was strong gasoline odor on the outside and inside of the cabin. Dealership noticed fuel tank filler neck had a hole. Vehicle was taken to the dealer on several occasions and proper testing wasn't done. The cause was discovered on the fourth visit. The smell had been present six months or more.”

NHTSA complaint #10044811, filed 2003-12, 40,000 miles

“On 12/22/09, the computer controlled throttle motor was replaced on my 2000 Honda Odyssey. The van would not slow when you removed your foot from the accelerator pedal.”

NHTSA complaint #10308048, filed 2010-02, 43,036 miles
