“Engine turns off by itself at stop. Auto idle stop was not turned on. It also happened when i pressed the reverse button. When it turns off by itself, i have to turn it back on and put it back into gear. It happened 4 times today”
NHTSA complaint #11706218, filed 2025-12“The air for the last 2 summers hasn’t worked right. Recently it wouldn’t work until being driven for hours then it would cool off. After it would cool down the car would start to get a very strong gas smell inside. After being checked 3 different times we were informed that there was a problem with the fuel line and the design of it. We would have to have it rerouted seasonally. This is very dangerous, they said there was no permanent fix and in the mean time we were left inhaling gas for weeks. Gas inhalation can kill you. This is a very serious problem that needs addressed ASAP. …”
NHTSA complaint #11532884, filed 2023-07“There have been several instances where the vehicle’s “Idle-Stop” feature failed to restart the vehicle resulting in a stall. This has happened in heavy traffic including once in the middle of a busy intersection while waiting to make a left turn. My vehicle has not been inspected by the dealer, but this is a known issue with an open investigation.”
