“After a heavy rain, the rear tailgate stopped working- apparently the roof seals have cracked and water leaked into the rear part of the car, and destroyed the tailgate latch and control unit. When I was driving the car for service, the rear sensor kept beeping indicating that the tailgate was not latched properly- I was afraid it would open it, so I had to drive carefully to the dealer. …”

NHTSA complaint #11526301, filed 2023-06

“It was the same thing as my last three reports. The vehicle stalls in a way that freezes the vehicle where I cannot turn it off or on or engage or remove the parking brake. I cannot put it in gear or in neutral. Last time it stalled me in the middle of a seven lane highway. This time it was in the middle of a hospital entrance. I feel like I am gambling with my life and the dealership won’t listen to me! How many times does this have to happen??”

NHTSA complaint #11683869, filed 2025-08

“Passenger side, sliding door. The door closes on its own randomly but becoming more frequent. I have taken the van to the dealer multiple times and they can not figure out what is wrong. There was no warning light or error shown. Today the door shut on my son’s foot as he was getting in the car. The door fully closed and pinned his foot causing him great pain. He could not twist to open the door and free himself. …”

NHTSA complaint #11460849, filed 2022-04

“When driving the ac will turn down by itself and when coming to a complete stop the car will put itself in park and the engine will shut off completely. The brake light and engine and battery light will come and the car will restart itself and stay in park or I will sometimes have to restart the car myself. The brake light started to flash on 4/16/2026. I purchased the car on 12/18/2025 to finance . The vehicle will slow down and jerk back and forth when driving at a normal speed .”
