“I went out to unlock my van and it wouldn't unlock. Thought the battery in key fob was dead. Found out that the delay wiper setting, rear wiper, high beam lights, turning signals. Door locks, washer fluid, outside temp display, warning lights, like the seat belt and the one that tells you that you left your keys in the ignition, are not working. Have checked all fuses. Need help please.”

NHTSA complaint #10588510, filed 2014-05, 95,000 miles

“Failure of high beam, running lights, directional signals, power door looks, intemittent wipers. Failed safety inspection. Mechanic worked all day could find the problem. I drove it home. A couple of days later it was working. I brought it back to get a inspection sticker. All good. Worked for about a week then stopped working. I realilized the only difference was that outside temperature. It failed in the cold. I ran the heater in the car for about an hour on max heat. Still no good. …”

NHTSA complaint #11281080, filed 2019-11, 140,050 miles

“Big o euro tire tire tracking with longitudinal road contour changes causing the front of the vehicle to shift right or left. Big o rep said it was an alignment issue. After alignment the tracking was only more pronounced. While passing a vehicle the tracking almost pulled my car into vehicle I was passing.”

NHTSA complaint #10473304, filed 2012-09, 74,000 miles

“Complaint - air bags & security alarm system takata recall. My Honda van has the airbag warning light intermittently on. Most days, it is not lit, but for instance, driving today, I got the light. Van has never been in an accident and is still the original factory installed equipment. Airbags don't fail unless it is faulty manufacturer such as part of takata recall. Honda van recall is limited to 2004 but I think 2005 can also be affected.also anti theft security system is out of control and any time is activated.”

NHTSA complaint #10995717, filed 2017-06, 140,000 miles

“I have a 2005 Honda Odyssey and was driving to work, when I noticed smoke coming from under the hood. At first I thought the van was overheating but noticed the temp gauge was normal. Pulled over and opened the hood and the engine compartment was on fire. Called 911 and the fire department put out the fire. Contacted amercian Honda regarding the situation, and let me know that they would look into it.”
