“starting on dec 24 and again on dec 25 the tcar has been having problems shifting into gear. THIS IS JUST ONE OF THE MANY PROBLEMS I have been having with this car I have already submitted a ticket on this car. This car needs to be recalled nation wide, OI do not feel it is safe to drive and it is only a matter of time until this model will be involved in many accidents resulting in many injuries.”
NHTSA complaint #11707090, filed 2025-12“High voltage system error has flagged and been fixed multiple times starting in early January of 2026. Car randomly warns and breaks in the middle of the road because it sensed something that wasn’t there. Luckily no wrecks have occurred. Both CV joints have a loud clicking noise that the Honda dealerships knows about but has no fix for. I currently have an appointment for the dealership to look at my brake and high voltage system again.”
NHTSA complaint #11728535, filed 2026-04“Yesterday 11/30/25 we were going on the freeway about 60 mph, when suddenly I got the warning that my battery and acceleration were impacted due to a battery issue. States to service battery soon. It stayed that way as we were headed to have some blood work. That warning continued until the evening when it disappeared so thought it was a glitch. I still setup an appointment to have it checked at the dealership on Thursday 12/4/25 at 8:15am. On 12/1/25 at around 7:35am I was about to break at a light when I feel this jolt from my car and the same warning lights stayed on. …”
NHTSA complaint #11702390, filed 2025-12“While driving in traffic, the car unexpectedly applied the brakes and displayed a 'Service High Voltage System' warning on the dashboard. Shortly after, another message appeared: 'Service Vehicle Soon,' followed by 'Reduced Acceleration - Drive with Care.' The car isn't charging and lacks the speed needed to drive on the highway.”
NHTSA complaint #11645526, filed 2025-02“The EV battery would not charge. There were 2 messages, but nothing to indicate the issue, except that it was unable to charge. Took it into a dealer for service who stated that the freon was low. Without freon, the battery won't charge due to possible overheating. This was a brand new car - owned 2 days. They refilled the freon and charged the car. They could not find any leaks.”
