“The digital instrument cluster (dashboard screen) and the infotainment screen went black while I was driving. This meant I was unable to see my MHP or any critical information on my car. I was listening to music and first it stopped, then a moment later both screens went black. This lasted for 30 seconds until one came on followed by the other.”
NHTSA complaint #11711845, filed 2026-01“Cv joints clicking. Local Honda service department is aware of the problem, but no fix for it. Service high voltage battery with reduced power. This just came up that limits driving. Heater stopped working. Infotainment center will black out on and off every time I turn on the car. Very dangerous when I forget and I’m backing out of my garage.”
NHTSA complaint #11701966, filed 2025-11“We where approaching the ramp to the bridge and our dashboard indicated front camera malfunction - ever since we’ve taken it to the dealer numerous times and the problem has not been resolved. It’s a safety issue. In addition also the cross camera doesn’t work sometimes and the dealer told us they know of this issue.”
NHTSA complaint #11764573, filed 2026-09“After updating my Prologue and driving it for a few miles, I'm now seeing a message that says: Service High Voltage System / Service vehicle soon. The car will not accept a charge at all and the heat/defroster will not work. It will only blow cold air (which may just be outside air circulating meaning full hvac isn’t working).”
NHTSA complaint #11651635, filed 2025-03“Been hearing a clicking noise from my front end of the prologue for quite some time. Keep having it written off that it’s nothing. However I see people having complaints and getting the vehicle serviced. Also my charger door compartment has been replaced 2x and is almost headed in for a third replacement. Buy back investigation has been launched by Honda. No news since July”
