“The “check high voltage system” warning came on, we noticed the hearing stopped. This started after 12,000 miles. The dealership said they fixed it and gave it back the warning reappeared a few days later, same events we lost heat and then the warning came back on. We have it back at the dealership they still don’t know what’s wrong.”

NHTSA complaint #11707057, filed 2025-12

“After updating my Prologue and driving it for a few miles, I'm now seeing a message that says: Service High Voltage System / Service vehicle soon. The car will not accept a charge at all and the heat/defroster will not work. It will only blow cold air (which may just be outside air circulating meaning full hvac isn’t working).”

NHTSA complaint #11651635, filed 2025-03

“Service High Voltage System warning. Have had this come up on my car and I have seen that this is a design issue with the battery cooling system. I am glad that the car did not just shut off while I was driving. Honda/GM need to make this car right. And this issue is happening to everyone. Please help us.”

NHTSA complaint #11645247, filed 2025-02

“For the second time in 7 months since I’ve owned the car, I need to get it serviced for an error on the panel names “System Voltage Error”. As a result, the car can’t be charged (EV), the heating doesn’t work in the middle of winter, and acceleration is reduced.”

NHTSA complaint #11637317, filed 2025-01

“I was driving in the highway, at ~70mph with cruise control on when the error popped up. The temp was been 47-52°F. I got a message saying Service High Voltage System. I thought nothing of it and proceeded with rest of my trip. I went to even colder conditions and got down to 28°F at one point. I noticed that in the car, the AC was not working, it was only blowing cold air from outside. Eventually went to charge and and the car refused. I was 70 miles from home but was able to get a tow.”
