“My seat buckles have been on recall since last year and they still have not fixed them. I have been to the dealership capital Hyundai in Greensboro, NC multiple times to try and get them fixed. They told me in January that it would be fixed in February. I am concerned to drive my car with my kids if they are not latching properly.”

NHTSA complaint #11752182, filed 2026-07

“The driver seat belt only locks sometimes. It also will unlock while driving. This is a safety issue if I'm in an accident I can be thrown from the vehicle. I contacted the dealership and they advised no recall has been attached to my VIN but it is under warranty still so they can fix. When the seat belt unlocks the seat belt light is triggered and the alarm goes off”

NHTSA complaint #11612726, filed 2024-09

“Acceleration hesitation on numerous occasions. Seat belt recall, unresolved. Waiting for parts for over two months. Also waiting for dealership availability and also, I need an available loaner car. I have to drive my child around frequently for personal reasons. I use my third row and there's no remedy for the third row safety recall. The second row seat belts are constantly being stuck and inoperable.”

NHTSA complaint #11728213, filed 2026-03

“unknown, been trying since 2024-2025 to get the back seat belt recall done only to be told its on back order not sure when it will be available. In the meantime I have my kids in the back seat , The dealership response was to get an rental car until the parts come in.”

NHTSA complaint #11753595, filed 2026-07

“Hyundai has refused to correct recall 292 and 283. I do not feel safe driving my children in the third row with the open recall. I have requested a loaner while the recalls are fixed. Since recall 292 has no timeline on repair, I feel Hyundai should issue a buy back.”
