“When you were at a complete stop and go to make a turn, the backend makes a clunking noise it almost hesitates like it’s having a hard time going and feels like it wants to lock up. I brought it to the dealership. They told me it was my tires and I needed an alignment. I brought it to a tire shop. I got an alignment. They told me it was not my tires. They believe it to be a differential.”
NHTSA complaint #11675979, filed 2025-07“My car would not accelerate when the gas pedal was pushed. It was in snow mode and we had to switch modes to make it go. My wipers also stopped working when snow and ice collected at the base. We had to remove all of the snow and ice before they would work. It was actively snowing and this was a a real safety issue.”
NHTSA complaint #11508868, filed 2023-02“The ABS braking problem has not been mentioned to Hyundai or any other company or organization to date as it was just recently experienced. I recently put unscreened millings on the road end of my gravel driveway. When coming to a slow stop before entering the public road I now experience the brake vibration or chattering with deminished braking responce. Fortunately, I have not experienced this while driving on a public road in 35,000 miles.”
NHTSA complaint #11614551, filed 2024-09“Hyundai has 2023 and 2024 palisades recalled under 23V526. I have yet to be notified and am unable to get this recall fixed. My car is being destroyed by the sun because I refuse to park it in the garage. This car has been in the shop more than out and I'm sick of it.”
NHTSA complaint #11548268, filed 2023-10“Vehicle loses power during driving and unable to accelerate further. It slows down by itself and nearly stops on the highway. This has happened at least three times and almost caused an accident. Took it to a Hyundai dealership and was told it was fixed just to experience a similar problem the next day. They gave me a rental Hyundai Santa Fe and I experienced the same issue with loss of acceleration power and vehicle slowly down despite trying to accelerate.”
