“Back view mirror does not support proper adjustment for use. Mirror does not tilt far enough upward causing me to only see the back seats and not my back mirror. Unable to use mirror places me at risk when backing up or adjusting to traffic, making me unable to see emergency vehicles or police from behind.”

NHTSA complaint #11477047, filed 2022-08

“The windshield wipers were set to auto during a torrential downpour. When they increased to a high speed of wiping, we heard a large crack and the windshield wiper had completely broke on us. We were going around 45 MPH on a highway and were 1 hour away from our destination. We had little to no visibility for the remainder of the car ride as it continued to downpour and was the most terrifying drive. We went to Dick Hannah's in Portland, OR to get it fixed. …”

“1. I had an issue with my new Hyundai: rear driver side window just shattered with no reason. 2. It's happened what car was in parking spot and glass does not hurt anyone, but it could happen on a highway with worst consequences. 3. I believe it was kind of factory defect or so, but local dealership doesn't agree with me, they didn't even inspect it. 4. There were no signs that this going to happen, window was just fine all the time, and the day before incident, and the same day in the morning. …”

“I bought my brand new car about 4 months ago. When i bought the car it was raining and i mentioned about the driver side wiper not working properly. They told me i have warranty and just bring it in when i can. I made an appointment and i have been there 2 times with same issue. The issue is the wiper skips on the windshield and makes loud bang when it goes to the left of the wndshield. I changed the factory wipers to brand new $30.00 Bosch and they same thing happened until 2 weeks the wiper finally just broke. …”

NHTSA complaint #11493198, filed 2022-11

“I was driving down the road with no other vehicles around me when there was a loud popping sound. it was so loud it made my ears ring and i jerked the steering wheel a little to the left but i luckly did not leave my lane. it just really scared me. i slowed my car down and pulled over and inspected my car and i noticed a little crack in my windshield which has a little longer. i noticed about a year ago where this same windshield had ice on the inside which i had to scrape and wipe off before i could drive it. i love my car but could there be a defect on this windshield.”
