NHTSA complaint #11734154, filed 2026-04“The contact stated while pulling into a garage at 5-10 MPH, the vehicle accelerated resulting in the vehicle crashing through the contact's house. During the incident the contact had brake failure and the air bags failed to deploy. There was frontal damage to the vehicle. The vehicle has not been inspected by the dealership. The vehicle was towed to a body shop for the necessary body repairs.”

However, the part needed to do the repairs was unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repairs. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure.”
