Example complaints

Selected from NHTSA records; personal details are removed. They are consumer reports, not findings.

“While driving over an hour or more than 80 miles, transmission would not shift from pass gear down to 3 gear. It would sound like its slipping. Has been doing this since 5,000 miles SUV has 100,000 infinity doesn't want to cover it. Now first and 4th doesn't work. Dealer told me infinity had a problem with the trans over heating, which causes transmission failure.”

NHTSA complaint #10252617, filed 2008-12, 5,000 miles
