“Traveling at about 10-15 mph through a parking lot looking for a place to park. When 3 pedestrians crossed in front of my Jeep causing the Jeep to violently and abruptly stop. This violent and unexpected stop caused me to be thrown forward and then back which immediately caused a bruise and swelling in my chest and the left side of my neck and shoulder immediately hurting which got and continues to get progressively worse. The Jeep stopped instantly prohibiting me to react to the stop. The Jeep just stopped it didn’t slow down to stop it just stopped. It truly was a violent stop.”

NHTSA complaint #11723713, filed 2026-03

“Vehicle was being driven when the service power steering message came on, the steering wheel became very stiff and hard to maneuver. A list of messages also came up on the display, that other functions of the vehicle where either disabled and/or needed to be serviced. after the vehicle was parked it was no longer able to be moved due to the power steering being inoperable.”
