Example complaints

Selected from NHTSA records; personal details are removed. They are consumer reports, not findings.

“After picking my son up from his school bus stop, the vehicle began lightly shuddering at approx.8-10 MPH. I thought maybe a weight had fallen off and continued the block and a half drive home. When I went to leave the house again later in the evening, I noticed a mess of what looked like tire shavings on the ground and looked closely at the tire. The tread had separated from the tire. I changed the tire to the spare but now am very concerned about the remaining tires and the possibility of this happening to them. …”

“Consumer is not satisfied with reimbursement from manufacturer, consumer states when tires were replaced with wwrangler at/s tires, he took the firestone tires back to the dealer, but they only accepted 3 of the tires, because the fourth tire did not have the vd serial number.”
