“The contact owns a 2014 Jeep Wrangler equipped with four Goodyear Tires. Tire line: Wrangler Fortitude HT, Tire Size: 27565R18.The contact stated that while driving the rear driver tire blew out without warning. The road patrol replaced the damaged tire. The local dealer was not contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. There were no reported injuries. The manufacturer was notified where informed to send in tire however, no further assistance was provided.. The tire mileage was unknown. The vehicle failure mileage was 100,062.”

The contact stated that while operating the vehicle, the tire pressure monitoring system displayed a straight line instead of the proper air pressure levels. The contact stated that the failure appeared for the front driver and front passenger side tires. The cause of the failure was not yet determined. The local dealer and manufacturer were notified of the failure and informed the contact that the VIN was not included in NHTSA Campaign Number: 14V632000 (Tires). The contact indicated that the vehicle had experienced the failure listed in the recall. …”
