“At various times when we depress the accelerator pedal the engine will not respond. Until we tap on the pedal several times then the engine RPM's will advance. This condition is very hazardous because if we are trying to merge into moving traffic the vehicle will only move at engine idle speed. This condition could cause a serious crash or even death as we never know when the vehicle will fail to accelerate.”
