I got home and parked my van outside (usually park in the garage but would be leaving within the hour so didn't want to open the garage door and let the heat out). I shut the van off and carried groceries inside. Long story short I received a call from my husband that the neighbor called to say there was smoke next to our deck and I looked out the window and my kia was on fire! Rear end just engulfed in flames. …”
NHTSA complaint #11501159, filed 2023-01“We bought our 2015 Kia Sedona earlier this year (2021) and are having issues with the left blinker, the sliding doors and the backup camera. With the blinker, it doesn't always activate when you plus the lever down. sometimes you have to push it real hard. Other times you push the lever down to turn left but the right blinker comes on instead. With the doors, the rear left door doesn't always click shut all the way. It makes a grinding sound and then the back of the door unhinges. Sometimes it closes all the way only to unhinge while I am driving, sometimes 55+mph in the middle of a highway. …”
