2020: “I was driving car on.the highway and as I prepared to exit I braked and the car hesitated for 2 seconds before brakes engaged. Car has also had hesitation upon acceleration periodically .this has been an issue upon just a few weeks of ownership. The break issue was just recently 7-29-20 I have taken the car to the local dealership about the driving/accelaration issue twice without resolution .”
NHTSA complaint #11331647, filed 2020-06, 3,950 miles2021: “After turning left at a signaled intersection onto a highway the automatic braking engaged and the car skidded to a stop in the middle of the lane. Luckily nobody was behind us. There was a car about 4 car lengths ahead that was going the same speed and was not stopped. I pulled over and checked the front sensor and noticed a couple black flies on it and brushed them off.”
NHTSA complaint #11416800, filed 2021-05, 5,078 miles2024: “The vehicle is experiencing premature transmission failure, since about 9,000 miles. Mazda has been dropping the ball at replacing it under warranty and we found out there are 3 other CX-30s that I know of with similar issues. I believe Mazda has a faulty transmission in these cars based off my findings and other complaints.”
