“While driving at approximately 20 mph on a residential road during slushy conditions, the side curtain airbags deployed without warning. There was no collision, no impact, and no indication of a rollover or crash. A police officer arrived and completed a report, which noted no crash had occurred. The airbag deployment caused damage throughout the vehicle, and the car has since been declared a total loss by the insurance company. The manufacturer initially delayed responding for over two weeks. …”
