Example complaints

Engine: “Noise engine only evident sometime when the engine is idling after its warm up. The car has 7,294 mile. I when to the store and put my groceries always came back to start the car and I heard the ticking sound. After a couple of second about 30sec it started to get quit. I when to universal Nissan in orlando on 4/1/2015 and told me it was normal. It sound like bad lifter.”

NHTSA complaint #10853179, filed 2016-04, 7,294 miles

Transmission and drivetrain: “Vehicle started jerking and the RPM gauge was moving up and down while in motion. I had to keep breaking and pushing the gas as it would accelerate on it's own. We took it to get scanned at auto zone, scan said it's the transmission pressure sensor. Other Nissan vehicles have had this issue with their CVT transmission.”

NHTSA complaint #11318309, filed 2020-03, 59,000 miles

Fuel system: “While driving on the interstate, the car slows down and will not accelerate. If I press the gas to get out of the way of on coming traffic the car skips and does not go over 40 MPH. I try to get to the far lane in hope's of not being hit. I turn the car off and try to start it again and the engine light comes on, try again to start it and it slowly moves until it gains speed and I keep my hazards on, engine light goes off and it has been doing this periodically ever since.”

NHTSA complaint #11269003, filed 2019-10, 33,156 miles

Brakes: “My brakes suddenly went out while pulling into my drive way on my 3 year old car. There was no warning light, and the break fluid is good. I tried to bleed them also. I researched it and in march Nissan put out a recall for 2015-2017 JUKE nismo rs, a sportier trim, for brake problems. It's about the master cylinder, what I think is wrong with mine.”

NHTSA complaint #11100122, filed 2018-06, 21,000 miles
