“I was told that the throttle malfunctioned. I was driving on the highway and the car would not accelerate, the dash said malfunctioning and the cars driving beside me had to swerve around me. I took the car back to the dealership where I purchased it and was told that parts had to be ordered and that it was a throttle malfunction. The car has not been inspected by anyone except those at the Nissan dealership where it was purchased. There were no warning signs before the malfunction. …”

The contact stated that while driving on several occasions at various speeds, the steering was difficult to maintain as the vehicle drifted and the steering wheel was stiff. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that the front end needed to be aligned. The vehicle was repaired, but the same and additional failures reoccurred less than a year later. …”
NHTSA complaint #11738716, filed 2026-05, 36,000 miles“Unresolved knock/pop sound coming from the front wheel passenger side. Dealer replaced front passenger strut, this did not resolved the issue. Apparently now the dealer is telling me it's an engine mount that will get an engineering update soon from the manufacturer.”
