“Randomly, while driving anywhere I hit the brakes. The wheels almost lock up and I can hear the ABS kick in. Also the brake light is on the dash. I shut the truck off and when restarts everything is back to normal.”

NHTSA complaint #11394332, filed 2021-02, 110,000 miles

“The truck stalled out no power had to crash into shoulder of road and embankment. Glad we survived the bumpy crash, I just had suspension work done that saved us. We read the ipdm board or ECM relay is bad and causes this stalling to happen. Part number for ECM relay 284b7-cw29.”

NHTSA complaint #10725446, filed 2015-06, 84,601 miles

“I had a 2005 Nissan Titan truck. The real axle seal broke and the oil came into the rear brake when I was on interstate highway from fl back to va. I had to drive so slow to make it back home and had it replace for $500. Few weeks later now I have a front drive axle seal broke and oil is leaking. I am bringing to dealer and replace today.”

NHTSA complaint #10361481, filed 2010-10, 70,000 miles

“I noticed a black dark grease on the inner rim and axle hub. I was told by a neighbor with the same make and year that this is a leaking bearing seal and that the entire axle has to be replaced. I consider this a hazard if the bearing seal has leaked all over the rear brake pads and shoes.”

NHTSA complaint #10426354, filed 2011-09, 75,000 miles

“Front brake judder when hard braking occurs. Vehicle steering wheel pulls in different directions. Fixed by dealer twice for after multiple complaints (warranty) once by me out of my own pocket. At 55,000 and three sets of brakes the judder is coming back again for the 4th time.”

NHTSA complaint #10243846, filed 2008-09, 9,319 miles
