“Worst dealership my husband and I ever dealt with. We purchased a 2019 Nissan XD Titan Diesel with warranty. Two days after purchase, the check engine light came on. I called Spencer from the service department to let them know. They took the truck the very next day; it was some issue with the gas tank, so the part was back-ordered. After getting that fixed, the check engine light still never went off. I questioned the dealership; all they could say was it was probably a dirty sensor. …”

“I rented vehicle from Budget rent a car system. The electrical engine computer system components malfunctioned and went out while I was driving. The rental car company sold or destroyed the vehicle upon request. My safety was compromised involving me in a accident. The Nissan Dealerships in Philadelphia & Ohio confirmed several unresolved recalls. The vehicle was inspected by Nissan Dealership after accident on behalf of Budget Rent a Car but Nissan dealership refused to fix recalls on a wrecked vehicle. …”

“2019 Nissan Titan XD Diesel 153,700 miles. Driving 70-75mph on Texas highway and felt a vibration when I pressed on the gas pedal. Started moving over to exit due to power loss when a slight puff of smoke came out. I pulled over in a safe area and shut the truck off. There were NO Warning lights on the cluster. When I stepped out a small puddle of oil had already started to form under the truck. Open the hood and the passenger side engine compartment was covered in oil. I noticed oil formed on the license plate and was dripping out of the exhaust pipe. …”

NHTSA complaint #11652127, filed 2025-04

“I had a check engine light for catalytic converter bank 1. Added a cleaner to see if that would help - instructions mention run 1 - 2 tanks of gas after adding, so I did that, it took a while since I dont use the truck as often. The light did not clear so I was planning on bringing it in. I was on the highway and the check engine light starting flashing and power loss occurred. I limped off the highway and got it towed. It had 3 codes on check engine light. Other than the check engine light, no warnings, messages, nor symptoms appeared or occurred prior to the flashing check engine light. …”

NHTSA complaint #11709024, filed 2026-01

“I stopped to get diesel and pulled onto the interstate. Within 2 miles of being on the interstate, the engine felt as though it downshifted, lost power, and stalled in a construction one lane zone with no way to get out of traffic. The engine would no longer turn over and the truck would not start. This was a danger, not only to me, but to other drivers on the interstate. Had taken 90 miles away to a certified diesel nissan dealership who said all of the fluids were good and the motor was locked solid. It was not covered by warranty ans was estimated to cost $32,000.00 to replace motor.”
