“My right head light goes out, I have changed the bulbs too many times and the harness. My stability track comes on and I can loose power the first time I was traveling out of town on the highway, and by grace of god I was able to pull over. This car is becoming a nightmare and I think we should be given some kind of compensation...please fix these issues...this is an ongoing problem for the last 3yrs”
NHTSA complaint #11184217, filed 2019-03, 140,000 miles“I have replace my low beam on the passengers side a few times in a year, this last time the wiring had melted. Because of this I had to pay a hundred dollar ticket for a light because I couldn't get it fixed in 24 hours. This is a safety issue, GM should be making this a mandatory recall....”
NHTSA complaint #10928140, filed 2016-11, 132,000 miles“I have replaced my drivers side headlamp 3 times in the last 3 months. I have read about problems with the wiring harness on these vehicles, where some have melted. Mine does not appear melted, or at least wasn't the third time I replaced it, but now this morning the headlamp burned out again. Without confidence in my headlamps, I am hesitant to drive at night.”
NHTSA complaint #10453562, filed 2012-03, 43,000 miles“I changed out the front right headlight. After I changed it out, roughly two days later the same light was out again. I checked the light, light was fine but wire harness was not working properly. After playing with the placement of the harness, I was able to get the light to work again. But light has not stayed on longer than two days without me having to work on it in some way.”
NHTSA complaint #10496385, filed 2013-02, 75,000 miles“My wife have a 2007 Saturn Outlook and the drivers low beam headlight went out. I accessed the lamp assembly and found the harness had melted. It is crazy the way it is constructed and so hard to have access, my wife is scare this thing can initiate a fire in the car with very dangerous consecuences....please recall this suvs to fix it.....thanks.”
