“While driving in the rain all of a sudden my power steering went out and I was forced to manhandle my vehicle off the road and into a parking lot. Within a few minutes the steering came back and I was able to continue home. Along the way this happened twice more. Now the problem lights for stabilitrak service and traction off are both on.”

NHTSA complaint #10821335, filed 2016-01, 73,000 miles

“When driving through a puddle, there was a loss of power steering and brakes. I had the interior liners replaced but the problem still occurs. The electrical problems have increased dramatically since the original date of the problem and at this point, I think this vehicle is extremely dangerous to drive. …”

NHTSA complaint #10607040, filed 2014-06, 105,000 miles

“Upon driving vehicle attempted to parallel park and without warning power steering was lost almost causing an accident. Vehicle was taken to dealer where the pressure hose was to be replaced at $500. Momentarily regained power with loud noises while turning. Service center replaced pump at $700+ and I still have no power steering. Now I may have to replace rack and pinions. I have a large family and afraid to travel with them in the vehicle at all.”

NHTSA complaint #11045948, filed 2017-11, 125,000 miles

“Driving highway when I noticed something different in my steering. It wasn't until I exited the highway and tried to turn, that is when I realized I didn't have power steering, I went over the line trying to turn the vehicle. Very dangerous. I struggled to get my car home safely.”

NHTSA complaint #10614798, filed 2014-07, 126,000 miles

“I was driving on the highway. I drove into some water on the road and lost steering. The wheel became very very hard to steer. Then it happened a few more time on the highway. Tonight, driving home in the rain and went threw a puddle of water on the road. Lost steering ability and had to stop the car in the middle of the road. I could not make my turn for the steering was some hard. I also noticed that the charging light came on as well when I went threw this puddle of water. The should be a recall a.s.a.p. This should not happen”
