“Takata recall while bolt assembly broke off at frame holding gas tank up. There are three metal 'straps' holding gas tank in place and the back one broke off from frame bolt and all still intact. I was in motion driving on a busy street when it broke off. I wasn't turning or anything and the speed limit is 40 MPH.”
NHTSA complaint #11174328, filed 2019-02, 160,000 miles“My transmission died in 2012 had put another transmission. Sitting in 2018 I need another transmission why can't they fix this problem. It's doesn't go above 10mph as I was driving also the roof leaks and car takes on water could cause a fire if you look online these are the 2 major complaints of this vehicle.”
NHTSA complaint #11099026, filed 2018-05, 130,000 miles“I have a 2007 Saturn Outlook whis is leaking water in through what I assume is the sunroof. My son, who was sitting in the third row of seating (back seat) noticed water leaking from the dome light. The water was also noticed in other areas of the vehicle throughout the drive. I have also started noticing electrical issues with the vehicle not that the rain has come in as well as water stains from other such issues.”
NHTSA complaint #10653981, filed 2014-11, 140,000 miles“Roof leaks from sunroof /moonroof. Everytime it rains my 2007 Saturn Outlook roof leaks. The water travels into the pillars and where the air bags are stored in the columns. I am not sure if this will effect air bag operation or deployment. Leaks into the glove box and behind dashboard as well as into the rear passenger / storage area. The floors are saturated and the vehicle smells of mold. Random dashboard lights come on periodically.”
NHTSA complaint #10569197, filed 2014-03, 58,000 miles“Sunroof leaks. The leaks lead to reserves of water above the headliner that can be heard when turns are made. Significant amounts of water run through air bags on a columns and dashboard. Given that the battery has died on me six times, I am concerned about long term electrical damage and proper air bag deployment. Dealer has attempted to repair five times.”
