“On September 24, 2026, the vehicle displayed “SEAT UNLATCHED — Occupied seats must be secured while the vehicle is in motion.” Tesla diagnosed an unavailable second-row buckle signal, seat pitch motor encoder errors, and a seat pitch that would not calibrate. Tesla recommended replacing the pitch motor/gearbox assembly and buckle. Service verbally advised us not to put a child in the affected seat until repaired. The invoice records the faults and recommendation, but no repair or written safety clearance. The rear seat-belt concern was already recurring by January 30, 2025. …”
