“Watched 20/20 may 9th 2008 about how to check for production date on tires. Checked date on tires may 10th 2008. Date is removed or buffed off of two front tires! The circle where the numbers are supposed to be is still on the tire but the date has been removed. Two front tires were bought april 22nd 2008. (I still have the receipt).”

Second incident first, was at only 12,000 miles. This is dangerous condition. Two failures require some awareness by manufacturer. Tire replaced prior to complete failure.”

The dealership was notified, but did not resolve the problem. The cause was not determined. Goodyear#p18565r15. Goodyear said that the incident was the consumer's fault.”
