“The contact owns a 2012 Toyota Corolla. The contact stated that the door lock system failed and caused the doors to close abruptly. The dealer corrected the failure by reprogramming the electronic computer system; however, the remedy caused the alarm system to fail. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 34,000.”
