NHTSA complaint #10823316, filed 2016-01, 28,000 miles

2013: “For the second time in a month, my car lost drive while I was cruising on the highway. The car just popped into netural with warning messages coming on the dash. It appears to be the same problem the recall addressed yet after 3 months, there is still no known fixes for it. Could you please help Toyota into pushing a fix for it asap as the car isn't really safe. 3 months wait to make a software patch is pathetic.”

NHTSA complaint #10732534, filed 2015-07, 34,500 miles

2012: “I was driving in the parking garage at work and the yellow exclamation light appeared on the dash with a message that says check EV system. Have you vehicle checked by a dealership immediately. I was able to stop and the car started after several attempts. The dealership replaced the ecu.”
