“For some time there has been an intermittent problem with the dashboard lights coming on and loss of power steering. The car has been checked by mechanics, including one at a Toyota dealership, but the problem was not found. I have experienced the problem with the car stationary, but I believe my son said it has happened to him while in motion.”

“The right rear wheel sensor failed on my 2006 Toyota RAV4 on 1/19/11. The part was back ordered to 2/24/11. I was assured by the dealer's service department that the car was safe to drive. That was not the case, however, when the left rear wheel sensor failed on 2/2/11, causing the car to become dangerous to drive, while I was on the road.”

It did for awhile but soon started a series of events that ended up with the coil d having to be replaced.”
